The Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Providence College invites applicants for adjunct positions, commencing fall 2020.
Class sizes are small and the courses may be taught in-person, online, or using a hybrid model. The position is renewable, and there is likely to be a need for these positions in the future. The compensation is $4,250 per three-credit hour course and $5,666 per four-credit hour course.
Essential Duties
The successful applicants will teach one or two introductory courses. Possible math courses include business mathematics, beginning calculus, and statistics; computer science courses include data analytics and introduction to Python programming.
Education and Experience Required
Candidates must hold at least a Masters in mathematics, computer science, or similar discipline from an accredited institution (or earn one by August 1, 2020).
