The University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville, Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery, seeks an up to full-time faculty position for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Surgeon at the tenured or non-tenure accruing level of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. Major responsibilities include providing body contouring, strong emphasis on breast, general reconstruction, and lower extremity reconstruction(no hand or face call required), elective plastic surgery patients, providing clinical and surgical care of trauma patients, teaching and research.

The University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville is the largest of the three UF colleges - medicine, nursing and pharmacy - located on the approximately 110-acre UF Health Jacksonville campus. The college's 17 clinical science departments house more than 400 faculty members and 360 residents and fellows. The college offers 34 accredited graduate medical education programs. In addition to graduate medical education, clinical rotations in all the major disciplines are provided for students from the UF College of Medicine in Gainesville.

For practicing physicians, the college offers a continuing medical education program that recruits national and international speakers who are well known and respected in their fields. Medical Doctor, BC/BE in plastic surgery, licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida, completion of an ACGME accredited residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Experience in building a practice in a competitive environment is preferred.
