The Department of Kinesiology and Health Science is seeking a research assistant to work on the recruitment and implementation of clinical trials with different patient populations under the supervision of Dr. Rodriguez Miguelez. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Recruiting study participants
• Assisting with experiments
• Data collection, management and analysis
• Coordinating, attending and assisting research team meetings
• Analyzing data
• Preparation of research abstracts, manuscripts and reports.
• Assisting with study-related documentation

Required Qualifications

Successful candidates:
-Must possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
-Must have excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills
-Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
-Must be able to work as part of a team and prioritize work requirements and multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Must be BLS / CPR certified

Preferred Qualifications

-Previous experience analyzing data
-Previous experience with pulmonary disease patient populations
-Previous experience using peripheral vascular technology preferred
-Previous experience in sample/blood processing preferred
-Bachelor degree, preferably in health or biology related disciplines
