West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute seek an interventional cardiologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor rank at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will be actively involved in the teaching of medical students, internal medicine residents and cardiology fellows. Opportunities also exist in clinical research.

While this position will be primarily based in Wheeling at Wheeling Hospital, the WVU Heart Institute operates several satellite clinics.

Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license at the time of employment. Candidates must have completed an accredited internal medicine residency program, general cardiology fellowship, and interventional cardiology fellowship.
