Job Description:

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for collaborative work with diverse faculty and staff and an ability to positively influence, mentor and work with diverse student populations.

Faculty members are responsible for developing educational and evaluation materials consistent with the philosophy and framework of the program, MassBay Community College and in accordance with the NECHE accreditation standards.

MassBay Community College seeks qualified part-time instructor(s) to teach one or more sections of a 4-credit course with its associated laboratory section in Biology for our science/STEM department. While we are looking to fill a vacancy immediately for the Fall 2019 semester to teach during the day, the courses may be offered throughout the year during days or evenings in Wellesley or in Framingham.

Our adjunct instructors hold a Master's degree in a related discipline and have obtained appropriate certification and/or licensure where applicable.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Teach course(s) as assigned;

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline.

Salary Range : As per the relevant provisions of the Division of Continuing Education (DCE) contract.
