Gannon University's Morosky College of Health Professions and
Sciences Physician Assistant Program at the Ruskin, Florida campus
is seeking applications for a faculty position. The appointment for
this 12-month, tenure-track position begins July 2020. The
successful candidate will be involved in ongoing curriculum
development and program accreditation; will carry 24 teaching
credits in the academic year; and prepare motivated students
intellectually, professionally, and personally. Qualified
candidates will be expected to engage in scholarly activities in
keeping with the Boyer Model of Scholarship as is appropriate to
the application and receipt of tenure and promotion at Gannon.
Requirements include a Master's of Science degree (doctorate is
preferred), current NCCPA certification (if applicable), and
appropriate clinical experience; candidates must have or be
eligible for PA, MD, or DO licensure in Florida. A minimum of two
years' prior teaching and research experience is preferred.
Ideally, candidates will also have experience using course
management systems for purposes of instruction and advising.
Candidates must be able to support and promote the University's
