Dentist, Part-time, Temporary

The part-time, temporary Dentist supports and enhances the mission of the Dental Department and provides additional leadership and management support for the Dental Clinics. In collaboration with the Dental Director and Program Directors, the part-time, temporary Dentist will contribute to continuous review, planning, and general effectiveness of the programs, and accreditation guidance. Instructional responsibilities require a broad-based knowledge of the field of study in dental assisting and dental hygiene. The part-time, temporary Dentist reports to the Dental Director.

Education Required: - Doctor of Dental Science or Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution - Current unrestricted license to practice as a dentist in North Carolina or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina

Experience Required: - Three years of clinical experience as a licensed dentist - Experience in providing oversight for students in a clinical setting

Experience Preferred: - Greater than three years of clinical experience as a licensed dentist
