Job Summary
The Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology Department, the Shen Lab welcomes applications for postdoctoral fellow positions at the University of Colorado Boulder. The postdoctoral fellow will join a highly collaborative and encouraging group to participate in one of the two cell biology projects. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Participate in one of the two cell biology projects:
- the molecular basis of metabolism and type 2 diabetes;
- the role of extracellular vesicles (e.g., exosomes) in neuronal signaling and Alzheimer’s disease. Our primary experimental approach will be cell culture models, complemented by CRISPR genetic screens and mouse models.

The starting salary will be between $46k and $50k based on experience.

What We Require
- A Ph.D. degree (or expected) in biological sciences or related field is required.
- Experience in mammalian cell culture is required.
Priority will be given to applicants with at least one first-author publication or with a first-author manuscript fully written.
