Job Summary/Basic Function



The Catherine McAuley School of Nursing is searching for committed and qualified adjunct faculty to serve as DNP project chairs for students in our BSN-DNP, DNP-NP, and DNP programs. Chairs will be assigned six students enrolled in the program and are expected to work with them throughout the 18-month program. Chairs work remotely throughout the year and are required to attend (virtually) the student’s DNP scholar’s day presentation.

The chair will work with a designated faculty mentor. The faculty mentor is available to provide support and answer any questions the chair has about the process.

NOTE : Doctoral level transcripts are required to complete the application (official or unofficial)



Minimum Qualifications



• DNP or PhD in Nursing or related field



Preferred Qualifications



• Experience with supervision of doctoral projects
• Doctoral level teaching experience
