The Center for Health and Homeland Security (CHHS) at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law is now accepting applications for Policy Analysts or Senior Policy Analysts (full-time non-tenure track academic positions with a payroll title of Research Fellow, Research Assistant, or Research Associate depending on experience). Candidates may report to one of the CHHS main offices in Baltimore, MD or Rockville, MD; or onsite with a local or state emergency management agency or health department in a Maryland jurisdiction including Montgomery or Prince George's County.

Essential Duties
CHHS works with state and local emergency management agencies, health departments, departments of transportation, and departments of public works on emergency preparedness and public health preparedness, response, and recovery. We also work with educational institutions, hospitals, and private business on emergency planning, training, and exercise activities. Candidates will be expected to work both independently and within a team to support client needs.

- Emergency management or public health experience preferred

This is a full-time grant-funded salaried position.
Salary: Salary is commensurate with experience, plus full benefits package including paid leave and health insurance.
