Job Description Summary

Reports to the Director of Administrative and Financial System Support. This position will assist in the administrative and financial system support for our internal accounting and administration system, to include managing user access, troubleshooting technical issues, providing recommendations for process redesign, functional efficiencies and optimal utilization.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or Accounting required.
  2. Minimum three years of proven experience with ERP systems, to include upgrades, implementations and database management, and reporting, preferably in higher education.

  1. Provide assistance in supporting Colleague Finance, Student and Self-Service. Modules include general ledger, payroll, payables, receivables, budget, project accounting, and procurement.
  2. Provide assistance in administering and supporting Colleague HR.
  3. Assists with configuration, modification and testing tasks involving Colleague and other business systems.
  4. Gain an understanding of system upgrades and patches and communicate with functional users.
  5. Collaborate with staff to prioritize, configure and design internal and external reports using available tools.
  6. Troubleshoot and assist the end-user community with technical solutions and support in identifying, resolving and/or advancing issues encountered in administrative and financial systems.
  7. Assist with implementation and upgrades of Colleague or any other application that integrates with Colleague to improve business processes based on best practices.
  8. Assist with the development of and delivery of training programs for various administrative and financial applications
  9. Collaborate with staff to configure and design internal and external financial reports and statements using available tools.
  10. Participate in the development and recommendation of procedures to ensure the integrity of the system and databases.
  11. Develop and maintain a proficient level of functional knowledge of applications.
  12. Help identify and develop innovative solutions to optimize the use of Colleague.
  13. Assist with management of user access, security and workflow rules within all business applications.
  14. Performs other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements

  1. Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. Work schedule subject to change based on the needs of the department.
  2. Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
  3. As required by the 1986 Immigration Act, be prepared to present acceptable documentation showing your identity and that you are a U.S. citizen or an alien who is authorized to work.
