Georgetown College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor with a specialization in Translation/Interpretation and Professional Spanish, beginning Fall 2019.  Expertise in Peninsular Spanish literature and culture a plus.  This is a one-year position with potential for renewal or eligibility to apply for tenure track.  PhD in Spanish preferred (ABD considered) with native/near-native proficiency. Teaching responsibilities will include professional Spanish courses and all levels of Spanish language. Teaching load is four courses per semester.
