Must possess EPA Section 608 certification
- Knowledge of basic mechanical concepts
- Ability to understand & follow job instructions
- Ability to perform basic math & use trade-specific tools and equipment

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in higher education and/or government
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment
- Ability to read & interpret technical manuals, blueprints & schematics
- Computer skills, including proficiency with e-mail & use of a portable electronic
device/tablet

- Experience using AiM & SAP

Job Description

Responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on the university’s air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Job Duties

Assists Head A/C Mechanic with equipment/system checks, preventive maintenance,
troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC equipment and systems.
