Sarah Lawrence College invites applications for a full-time junior,
tenure-track position in Modern Latin American history, to begin
Fall 2017. Applicants should have a research specialty in the
intellectual and economic history of twentieth-century Latin
America, with a preferred thematic focus on the transnational
history of economic development and capitalism. Applicants must
have a Ph.D. in History in hand by the time of employment. The
ideal candidate would also have an academic background in economics
or sociology. College-level teaching experience is essential.
Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae; a cover letter
addressing their teaching and scholarship; a short writing sample;
and two samples of undergraduate course syllabi. In addition,
applicants should provide the names and contact information for
