Full/Part Time:
Appointment: One-year visiting assistant professor in International Political Economy for the 2018-19 academic year.

Responsibilities: Teach five or six course for the year, to include some combination of introductory and advanced courses in international political economy and a senior thesis seminar. Preference for a candidate who is prepared to teach a survey course in South Asia or Southeast Asia.

Qualifications: A doctoral degree (ABD considered) in international political economy (or a related social science disciple) and a commitment to liberal arts education are required. Preference will be given to candidates who specialize in areas of South Asia or Southeast Asia.

Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and teaching load.

About the International Political Economy Program: The IPE Program offers a multidisciplinary approach to the study of international and global issues using tools and methods of political science, economics, and sociology as informed by an understanding of history and tempered by appreciation of cultural differences.
