Job Duties

  • Teach Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising courses

Minimum Qualifications

Any Bachelor's Degree AND two years of professional experience
OR
Any Associate's Degree AND six years of professional experience
OR
the Equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possession of an appropriate valid California teaching credential authorizing service in the specified subject area(s)
  • Master's Degree in Fashion Design/Fashion Merchandising or Clothing and Textiles
  • Experience teach community college level courses
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
  • Computer skills in CAD

Pay Philosophy
Starting salaries for PT Faculty are based on educational achievement. Initial placement is within the starting salary range. Further advancements are based on longevity and educational growth.
