Job Description:
The adjunct nursing faculty member must be able to teach core nursing concepts in lecture, lab or clinical. Assist in class management, evaluation, practicing the policies of NCC and affiliated hospitals. The adjunct faculty assist the student in the classroom and clinical setting, with evaluation of student achievement, and other matters, assigned in accordance with the mission, core values, and purposes of Nassau Community College.
Requirements:
To meet the minimum qualifications an applicant must hold a current, unrestricted New York State RN License: and Master's Degree in Nursing; and
Clinical or classroom teaching experience: a minimum of 2 years in a Master, Bachelor or Associate degree programs and/or experience in staff development within a Hospital facility or Health care organization.
Second discipline preferred in Pediatric, obstetrics, or psychiatric nursing.
