JOB DESCRIPTION

The School of Business at the University of Indianapolis is currently experiencing growth in both its undergraduate and graduate business programs. The School seeks applicants for a full-time non-tenure-track Instructor position. The candidate will teach 27 credit hours per academic year. Needs are in management, marketing and general business. The candidate will teach in English in our partner school in Ningbo, China. This is a full-time faculty position located in China with a start date of August 2020.

The graduate programs are MBA, MS in Management, MS in Strategic Leadership and Design, MS in Data Analytics and Masters of Professional Studies in Human Resource Development and Administration and Masters of Professional Studies in Real Estate Development. Personal attention, small interactive classes, and flexible programming are the rule rather than the exception.

The ideal candidate would have PhD or DBA in a business-related field. Qualified candidates with Master’s degrees will be considered, provided they have significant teaching and/or professional experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in management and marketing. Prior experience in overseas teaching is desirable although not required. This is a teaching position in China at Ningbo Institute of Technology (NIT). NIT is a Chinese university with an attractive campus situated in Ningbo, a coastal city with excellent transportation, restaurants and shopping and easy access by high speed train to Shanghai and Beijing. Courses taught in China are in English and travel and living expenses with housing are provided along with salary and a full benefits package.
