Under supervision of the Head Chef, Assistant Chef and Cold Food Production Coordinator, with guidance from PA I, prepares daily cold food items to recipe specifications. May operate computerized board checking system and perform other cash transactions.

High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Must demonstrate strong customer service orientation with positive, friendly, helpful attitude. Must be able to follow simple verbal and written directions. Must work well independently within team atmosphere and be industrious. Must demonstrate good personal hygiene practices.
Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents
Serve Safe certification required. Two years of institutional food service experience required. Demonstrated understanding of basic food preparation techniques and their application in catering and/or institutional settings.
Standard Work Days and Hours
Varying shifts including overtime, weekends, holidays and during weather emergencies. Required to work for major college events and weekends such as Parent’s Weekend, Commencement and Reunions.
