Position Summary:

This position will provide support for the UWCCC Flow Cytometry Laboratory, a shared resource available to campus biological research. The facility has three high-speed sorting flow cytometers, seven benchtop flow cytometers, and one imaging cytometer that serves the research community at the University of Wisconsin. To be successful in the position, the selected candidate will need to be familiar with flow cytometry software and have computer skills with a variety of programs.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in biological sciences.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

A background in biological and physical science is required. Previous flow cytometry experience is preferred. Experience with sorting cytometers and multi-color assays is desired but not required. General biological laboratory skills required. Training will be available to a suitable candidate.

Prefix assignment determined by years of relevant work experience.
