Initial salary placement ranges from $51,711 to $80,979, based upon
education and experience. The current faculty salary schedule
includes five classes and twenty steps with a maximum annual salary
of $108,490. A District-paid comprehensive benefit package which
includes medical, dental and vision insurances for the employee and
dependents, and a $50,000 employee life insurance policy are

Appointment to this position is subject to availability of

Learning Outcomes and Program Learning Outcomes, Program Review,
Teach assigned classes.
Master's in geography OR
Bachelor's in geography
Master's in geology, history, meteorology or
the equivalent OR

Experience teaching Geography courses not listed above.
Experience in GIS.
Experience using computers and Internet applications in the
