Post-doctoral research position &
Laboratory Research Technician position

A full time Post-Doctoral Fellow position & a full time Laboratory Research Technician position are available in the Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Nutrition at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore.

Qualifications :

Candidates will need to perform experiments involving techniques in molecular and cell biology, genetically altered mouse models, animal physiology, and metabolic phenotyping of mice.
Candidates with additional experience in the following skills and research areas will be favorably considered: isolation and culture of adipose and liver primary cells, flow cytometry analysis of immune cells, atherosclerotic plaque analysis in mice, lipid extraction and TLC analysis, immunoprecipitation and protein purification, ChIP assays, and/or sample preparations for single cell or nucleus RNA sequencing.
