Imaging and Clinical Neuroscience Post-Doctoral Position

The Department of Psychiatry and the Maryland Psychiatric Research Center (MPRC) have an open fellowship position with scientific focus on the application of multimodal imaging, genetics and/or electrophysiology techniques to study the etiology of and treatment for psychosis-related disorders. MPRC is a leading research institution on schizophrenia and offers many opportunities to patriciate in large national and international studies on schizophrenia. Applicants with an interest in big data/machine learning methods in large-scale studies, or diffusion, functional or spectroscopy imaging or in electrophysiology, TMS or TMS-ERP areas are encouraged. This position will be mentored by Drs. Elliot Hong and Peter Kochunov.

General educational activities will include internal courses on biological psychiatry, psychopathology, neuroimaging, genetics, journal clubs, meetings with invited outside senior researchers, grant writing workshops, and individualized career development.

Qualifications :

Applicants are expected to hold an advance degree (M.D., Ph.D or M.D./Ph.D.) in psychology, neuroscience, psychiatry, computer science, medical physics, computational biology or related fields. This position is open to US and International scholars.
