The College of Business at Alfred University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Marketing position beginning Fall 2020. Our AACSB-lnternational Accredited programs include a vibrant undergraduate business program, while offering majors/minors in various business disciplines, in addition to a growing MBA program. The College with its growth strategy introduced a health planning & management major (2018), and is developing a business analytics major for Fall 2020.

The University values excellence in teaching and development of students as individuals, and offers opportunities for teaching and leadership in our online and satellite instructional programs. An active student marketing club, student-run businesses, and internships provide opportunities for active learning. Salary will be commensurate with degree and experience; research and professional development support is available.

Requirements:

  • We are seeking a candidate who is teaching oriented with at least a master's degree and extensive experience in marketing analytics, integrated marketing communications or related marketing fields.

  • Candidate must be able to fulfill AACSB Scholarly Practitioner qualifications. We will consider a Ph.D. in Marketing or related fields with industry experience.

  • Teaching will include undergraduate and MBA courses in marketing.

  • Candidates with an interest in non-traditional teaching methods (i.e. online) are especially attractive.
