The primary mission of the School of Dentistry is to educate practitioners of Dentistry capable of meeting the general oral health needs of the communities they serve. Integral parts of the mission are research and other scholarly activity, patient care, and leadership in dental education and organized dentistry, and collaboration and participation with other units with VCU and VCU Health Systems.

This faculty position will provide clinical instruction to the predoctoral and postgraduate students in the School of Dentistry and may have the opportunity to provide didactic instruction and/or participate in small group instruction and seminars.

*A pool of applicants is being established to be drawn upon to provide special expertise when needed, and/or to meet special programmatic needs not otherwise provided within the department.

Required Qualifications

- Advanced training in the specialty of Periodontics.
- Possession of VA License to practice dentistry.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching clinical Periodontics in an educational setting.
