The School of Business at Mount St. Joseph University is seeking instructors for an adjunct pool supporting our five undergraduate majors, two undergraduate minors, MBA programs, and Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) program. Instructors may teach online, Zoom-based, and/or daytime classroom-based undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting, business law, business communication, economics, finance, management and leadership, marketing, or sport management.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Completion of virtual orientation session
  • Course instruction and grading
  • Monitoring student participation and engaging students with inclusivity and respect
  • Conducting office hours (virtual or in person)
  • Ongoing, proactive communication with department chair and administrative assistant
  • Adhering to School of Business and MSJ policies and procedures
Qualifications

For undergraduate courses: MBA or other appropriate graduate degree. Evidence of teaching excellence and relevant professional experience preferred.

For graduate courses: combination of relevant doctorate, evidence of teaching excellence, and applicable professional experience
