Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Science or related field
- One year of full-time or part-time equivalent pertinent professional work experience as an evidence or laboratory technician in the area of forensic science OR five years of full-time or part-time equivalent pertinent professional work experience as an evidence or laboratory technician in the area of forensic science.
Criteria

- Extent of relevant teaching experience.
- Extent of educational/training preparation and work experience in the Forensic Science field.
- Extent of scope and diversity of content areas in which teaching assignments can be undertaken.
- Extent of experience in developing teaching techniques and testing formats to reach a diverse, multi-cultural student population.
Job Requirements
- Degree from an accredited institution and/or documentation of experience and performance required.
- Unofficial transcripts must accompany application for teaching positions. Official transcripts of academic work required upon an offer of employment.
- Letters of reference must be job related and dated within the past three years.
- Availability for instruction 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. weekdays, and/or evenings Monday through Friday.
- Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
- As required by the 1986 Immigration Act, be prepared to present acceptable documentation showing your identity and that you are a U.S. citizen or an alien who is authorized to work.
