Pusan National University invites applicants for tenure-track positions in following academic fields to begin in March 2020: 

1. Department of Business Administration: Any area in Business Management including, but not limited to, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Operations Management, Management Information System, Personal & Organization Management, and Global Business
2. Department of Global Studies: International Law, International Relations, Law and Economics or Other Law field
3. Department of International Trade: International Trade (Economics, Management, Commerce)
4. Department of Russian Language and Literature: Russian Linguistics (Except for Russian as a Foreign language)

Candidates are commonly required at least five years of qualified teaching or research experience at the time of application (enrollment duration for both a master’s and a doctoral coursework is accepted-maximum two years to a master’s program and three years to a doctoral program.) Candidates should also have at least one original paper published in SCI-level academic journals or in the NRF (the National Research Foundation of Korea) registered or its registry-candidate journals or in the similar level of International Journals as a lead author for the recent three years. These positions are open to only non-Korean nationals who are native or native-level English speaker (Russian speakers only in case of applicants to the Department of Russian Language and Literature).

Successful candidates will teach nine credits per semester (nine class hours per week), and participate in administrative and extra-curricular activities. There will be research requirements for contract renewal, promotion, performance assessment and research-oriented incentives. Those who cannot communicate in Korean may complete at least 180 hours of Korean language courses provided by the university in three years.

Salary and academic ranks are commensurate with qualified experience. A four-year housing stipend is provided. Successful candidates will join and be covered by the National Health Insurance and the National Pension Plan.

2-2. Application requirements:

   a) J.D. in legal studies, international law, law and economics or other law field (required)

   b) We are looking for someone who can teach interdisciplinary areas related to legal studies.

   c) Teaching experience required

   d) Strong research potential preferred

   e) Native or near-native level of English

   a) Ph.D in the area of recruitment

   b) Native or near-native level of English
