Duties and Responsibilities

Department of Applied Science and Technology – Physics Program is seeking
dynamic, workplace engaged, technologically oriented, Part-Time faculty
members who will teach college-level physics courses, and enjoy working with
the diverse student population during the 2020 Spring Semester.

The Adjunct Faculty’s responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Provide quality instruction for undergraduate students.
• Evaluate student progress and provide appropriate feedback.
• Keeping track of student attendance.
• Submission of midterm and final grades online.
• Follow established teaching protocols within the physics program.

Qualification Standards

Education

A Master’s degree in physics or closely related
field. Ph.D. in Physics and/or prior teaching experience at the college level is
preferred.

Experience

Candidates with industrial experience are also welcome to apply.
