Job Description:

Fairfield University's College of Arts and Sciences is soliciting applications from qualified candidates holding Master’s or Ph.D. degrees in Biology, or related field to teach in the Department of Biology. Courses taught by adjuncts or visiting instructors are typically for students at the beginning undergraduate level. Instructors are mainly needed to teach sections of Anatomy and Physiology laboratories for nursing majors. Also of immediate interest are instructors who would like to teach courses for non-science-majors, such as fundamentals of general biology, etc. Classes will preferably be taught during the day, but a few sections of lecture or laboratory are offered in the evenings.
From time-to-time, upper division biology courses may be available for adjuncts or visiting instructors with proper qualifications and interests. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have expertise in topics of interest to STEM students that are related to biology.

Requirements:

• A Master's degree or higher is required.
