African-American Literature Faculty

Sarah Lawrence College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in African-American literature, beginning Fall 2020. We are particularly interested in candidates who, in addition to having an expertise in several areas of their field, are qualified to offer courses on race in American literature at large (colonial to the present). The successful candidate will display a broad interdisciplinary range in their research and teaching, as well as a commitment to supporting student work and developing curricular offerings in African-American studies. PhD in hand required by August 2020.
