The Dorus and Pitnick Lab in the Center for Reproductive Evolution is seeking a post-doctoral fellow to perform research related to the molecular evolution of male and female reproduction.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a strong background and/or interest in evolutionary genetics, transcriptomics/proteomics, bioinformatics or the development of novel computational tools to link genotypic and phenotypic evolution. Applicants should also have evidence of their creativity and potential, including publications that demonstrate their computational skills in genomic research.

Job Specific Qualifications

Applicants should have a strong background in biology and programming languages (i.e. R, python, etc.).

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work on a range of projects related to the molecular evolution of male and female reproduction with a specific emphasis on exploring co-evolving molecular systems between the sexes This PostDoc will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of transcriptomic/proteomic datasets and will be encouraged to assume an active role in the direction and design of future investigations.
