General Description of Position
The Diesel Technology Truck Adjunct Instructor is responsible for instructing students in various Diesel Technology courses (as needed), developing, and updating of the courses taught in a classroom/laboratory environment, and coordination of the cooperative education. Teaching assignments for this position include, but are not limited to, theory, testing, diagnosing, and service procedures on current Heavy Duty Truck vehicles. This position is also responsible for maintenance of lab equipment, completing production orders, advising students and working with program and college committees.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Associate’s degree in Automotive or Diesel Technology Truck.
2. Two (2) years work experience in an automotive or Truck field related to the areas of assigned instruction
Desired Qualifications
Two (2) years post-secondary teaching experience. Baccalaureate Degree from accredited college or university.
