General Description of Position
The adjunct instructor is responsible for instructing students in various courses in a classroom and laboratory setting (as needed). Teaching assignments for this position may include, but are not limited to: Animal Breeding, Advanced Sheep, Advanced Beef, Animal Health, Livestock Management, Livestock Ultrasound Technology, Livestock Nutrition and Feeds, and Range and Forage. Additional responsibilities include student advising, participation on college teams and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Baccalaureate Degree in Agriculture or Agriculture Education, Animal Science, or Veterinary Medicine. Two (2) years of recent verifiable employment experience in Agriculture or Agriculture Education.
Desired Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Agriculture or closely related field. Two (2) years teaching experience and/or agribusiness experience.
