General Description of Position

The Adjunct Instructor, Ford ASSET is responsible for instructing students in various ASSET courses (as needed), developing, and updating of the courses taught in a classroom/ laboratory environment, and coordination of the cooperative education. Teaching assignments for this position include, but are not limited to, theory, testing, diagnosing, and service procedures on current Ford vehicles. This position is also responsible for maintenance of lab equipment, completing production orders, advising students and working with program and college committees.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate Degree in Automotive Technology. Two (2) years of recent experience in the automotive field related to assigned instruction in the 1st through 7th quarter classes in the Ford ASSET program. Master ASE Certification or completion within 2 years of hire.

Desired Qualifications

Two (2) years post-secondary teaching experience. Baccalaureate Degree from accredited college or university.
