The Department of Theology at the University of Notre Dame invites applications for a full-time tenure-track assistant professorship in Jewish Thought and Culture, with a starting date of August 2020. The subfield is open, with preference for candidates with expertise in the medieval and/or modern periods. The successful candidate will possess strong research and teaching skills, and broad knowledge of the Jewish tradition. The successful candidate will also be sympathetic to the mission of the University of Notre Dame, which seeks a distinctive educational and scholarly excellence that is founded on its Catholic identity.
