The University of Houston College of Nursing at Sugar Land is
seeking an outstanding candidate for Adjunct Faculty
positions.Adjunct responsibilities include: undergraduate or
graduate classroom and/or clinical instruction using on-site,
simulation, on-line and distance education strategies; some travel;
evaluation of student performance, communication with program
managers and clinical learning coordinator.
The College of Nursing is proud of its excellent Second Degree BSN,
RN-BSN and MSN academic programs, innovative web enhanced
education, simulation laboratory, and supportive student
environment for both face-to-face and distance learning. Ability to
teach a variety of upper level undergraduate specialty areas is a
plus. Summer teaching is normally available.

1. Master’s degree in nursing from a professionally accredited
school of nursing.
2. Candidate must possess an unencumbered license as a registered
nurse or advanced practice nurse in Texas.
3. Minimum 2 years nursing experience.
4. Excellent clinical and communication skills.
