The Department of Comparative Cultural Studies at the University of Houston invites applications for a position as part-time lecturer to teach courses in Anthropology, with a specialization in Biological Anthropology and Evolutionary Theory. This course is ANTH 2301, Introduction to Biological Anthropology, and is an important course for undergraduate majors. This is a non-tenure track position and lecturer appointments are made on a semester basis.
The successful candidate should have an MA in Anthropology, especially Biological Anthropology, and should have experience at least as a TA in Anthropology courses, and be knowledgeable about Evolutionary Theory and evidence for Human Evolution at the undergraduate level.
