The Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking an academic radiation oncologist. The Department of Radiation Oncology has vigorous clinical care, teaching, and research interests and the candidate would be expected to improve activities in these areas.
Duties include direct patient care and participation in the education of medical students, residents and fellows. Contribution to the research mission would include leading or supporting grant-funded research projects.
Education Required: The candidate must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. and have completed residency training in Radiation Oncology. At least one year of clinical practice experience is preferred. License from Texas Medical Board required to practice medicine in the State of Texas. Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Radiation Oncology.
