Ball State University’s Department of Marketing is accepting applications for a full time contract faculty position available August 16, 2019.  Primary responsibilities of the Assistant Teaching Professor of Marketing include; teaching twelve semester hours of undergraduate courses in Social Media, Professional Selling, and/or Principles of Marketing.

 

Minimum qualifications:  MBA or Master’s Degree in a marketing-related field from an AACSB-accredited college or university.  Minimum of five years of mid or upper-level professional experience in an area relevant to teaching responsibility.

 

Candidates must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

 

Preferred qualifications: Completed Doctorate or ABD in Marketing or other Marketing-related field from an AACSB-accredited college or university, teaching experience in sales, social media, or other Marketing-related area at the university level, experience with new technology including online instruction, and record of scholarly research.
