Instructional Aide 3, Part-time
Center for Accessibility Resources
Proctors and administers a variety of tests, schedules appointments
for testing. Provides clerical, computer, and other support
services to students with disabilities and staff.
Education and Experience: Requires a high school diploma or
equivalent, plus a minimum of one year full-time experience in a
work or educational setting involving mentoring activities and/or
set up/support of learning experiences.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Requires the desire and commitment to work with students with
physical, psychological and/or learning disabilities. Must have
operational knowledge of general office equipment including
personal computers. Working knowledge of assistive technology is

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
May require hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate computer
keyboard and other office equipment. Requires good visual acuity to
recognize alphanumeric characters. Requires good hearing or lip
reading and clear well-developed speaking ability to communicate
with staff and students.
