The Body Imaging section of the Baylor College of Medicine Radiology Department in Houston, Texas has an opening for a faculty member at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor.

Job Duties

Body radiology faculty shifts rotates between coverage of a large hospital with a level 1 trauma center in the Texas Medical Center and coverage of community imaging. The Baylor College of Medicine Radiology Department has 48 radiology residents which assist with coverage of the large hospital in the medical center, and some of the community imaging.

The faculty position provides research and CME opportunities. The faculty position includes participation in weekend day coverage faculty call pool. Minimal light interventional procedures are included.

Minimum Qualifications

The ideal candidate is proficient in Body imaging interpretation and is interested in resident education.

Candidates must have completed an ACGME accredited residency and have fellowship training in abdominal/body imaging. An unrestricted Texas medical license is required to be credentialed.
