Job Summary:

Teach courses in the business management curriculum.

Required Qualifications:

Requires 27 graduate hours in Business; or a Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. Proficiency in the use of computer technology as it relates to business practices and the delivery of course content is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Some teaching experience at the college level preferred.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Essential Duties:

Act as a team member of the Business Department.

Communicate the objectives of each course taught, grade according to those objectives, and report student progress toward those goals.

Work effectively with students and staff of various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds and ages and successfully interact with supervisors, colleagues, and staff as part of an education team.

Establish and maintain opportunities for reasonable out-of-class contact with students.

Prepare course descriptions, outlines, and other material related to courses taught.

Establish and maintain a class roll, and teach in conformance with approved course outlines.

Participate in Student Appraisal of Classroom Learning.
