This pool has been established to accept applications for openings for part-time instructors that may arise throughout the year. Teach core Education and Human Development and Family Science Classes.

Required Qualifications:

Masters degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Child Development, Human Development, or related field.

Must be able to work respectfully with individuals of all cultures, backgrounds, perspectives, and abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer recent college teaching experience, working knowledge of computer software and Learning Management Systems.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a classroom setting with minimial exposure to safety hazards.

Essential Duties:

Teach education and development classes.

Follow course outcomes as identified in course outlines.

Communicate the objectives of each course taught, grade according to those objectives, and report student progress towards those goals.

Establish and maintain office hours.

Work within the philosophy and mission of LBCC .

Work effectively with students and staff.

Successfully interact with supervisors, colleagues, and staff as part of an education team.

Participate as assigned in occasional department and advisory meetings.
