Summary

The Department of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) is recruiting for a part-time position in the Parkinson's Disease Center and Movement Disorders Clinic. The successful candidate will be appointed at a faculty level commensurate with experience and achievement.

Job Duties
  • Successful candidate will be performing the duties of an outpatient provider in the Department of Neurology's Parkinson's Disease Center and Movement Disorders Clinic (PDCMDC). Responsibilities will include participation in the outpatient call coverage within the Department.
  • Evaluation, work up and management of patients with movement disorders in the outpatient setting.
  • Supervision of neurology residents, fellows, and medical students rotating in the PDCMDC. Such supervision includes history-taking, physical examination, write ups and plan of care for patients.


Minimum Qualifications
  • The candidate must hold an MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree
  • The candidate must have successfully completed residency training in adult neurology in an ACGME-accredited program and postdoctoral training in movement disorders.
  • The candidate must be board-eligible/board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) in adult neurology.
