For more than one hundred years, the University of Saint Mary of the Lake (USML)/Mundelein Seminary has been educating and forming priests for the Archdiocese of Chicago as well as scores of other dioceses. For many decades USML has also been forming deacons and lay leaders in English and in Spanish.
