SIT is the pioneer in experiential, field-based programs abroad. All of our programs are supported by long-standing relationships within communities around the world. Our highly trained staff are representative of the larger world in which we work. Our field centers employ mainly local citizens as lecturers, facilitators, program assistants, and other supporting staff. These host-country nationals provide vital connections and insight into the communities where our students study and live.
